Airmail now works with CDN for even faster temporary emails
We took a CDN partner which will help us handle the traffic we get from all over the world and also handle better DDoS attacks.
The graph seen in my previous post is the report dashboard graph from cdn77.com.

10 more domains and a new email server for temporary emails
We have just added 10 more domains and an additional server to handle the load of your temporary email needs, most of the domains are short and pronounceable to make it even easier to pass along your throwaway email address.
Introducing Starter, a new start page & Search engine
I would like to introduce to you Starter which is a start page and a search engine combined into one. It lets you create a custom shot list of sites you favorite and visit them with a flick of a finger.
It also lets you search the top search engines on the web directly from it’s very minimalist UI. Try it and tell me what you think.
Setting limits to number of mailboxes a user can open
In the short time AirMail has been in operation we had to deal with all kinds of problems, some of them are problems related to loading our servers with enormous amounts of spam and some are coming from users write bots that use our systems to register 100’s of accounts on some 3’rd party (facebook, twitter and what not).
So I decided to limit the amount of mailboxes a user can open and black list ips, at least temporarily to prevent abuse of our resources. If you you think this is wrong and have a valid use case for opening lots and lots of mailboxes please write to me.
I hope this will allow us to give better service to 99% of our users who just use the system for the occasional anonymous email.
